Capacitor Discharge stud welding is a method of fixing various fasteners to thin sheet materials. This a single sided fixing where no through hole is required.

There are several different types including internal and external threaded studs, plain pins and studs with special thread forms for use with plastic clips etc..

All our weld studs are cold formed and conform to BS EN 13918 standard and are manufactured in our own facility in Gevelsberg, Germany.
